Therapy Counseling Appointment and Insurance Information
Appointments & Insurance
I understand that navigating insurance coverage for counseling and therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want to make the process as simple as possible.
Counseling with Margie
Therapy appointments at Counseling Care Specialties are typically available within a few days, providing timely support when you need it most.
I see clients Tuesday through Thursday from 1pm to 6pm.
As an in-network provider with Aetna and United Healthcare, I aim to make quality mental health care more accessible. If you plan to pay out of pocket, I will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Once your appointment is scheduled, I’ll ask you to complete a few forms ahead of time so I can better understand your background and needs before we meet.

Call me at (973)220-9007 to schedule an appointment.

Scheduling an appointment
Appointments for therapy can typically be scheduled within a few days. If you’re unsure about starting therapy, I welcome you to reach out for more information. In some cases, I offer a brief initial consultation at no charge to help us determine the best path forward together.
For any questions about insurance, payment options, or scheduling, feel free to contact me. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Once we’ve scheduled your first appointment, please complete the Intake packet to the best of your ability. In addition, if you’re using insurance, I’ll need clear images or copies of the front and back of your insurance card.
Please email these documents to [email protected] before your session. I look forward to working with you!
Accepted Insurance
Therapy Counseling Appointment and Insurance Information
I am in-network with:
- Aetna
- United Behavioral Health (UBH)/Oxford/Oscar
I have an agreement with these insurance providers to offer services at a contracted rate. If you have a plan with Aetna or UBH/Oxford, your insurance will typically cover a portion of the cost, and you will be responsible for any copay, deductible, or coinsurance required by your plan.
Your copay (if applicable) will need to be paid before or directly after each session. If you’re unsure about your specific benefits, I recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage for mental health services.
Out of network or Out of Pocket
If you don’t have insurance, prefer not to use it, or have a plan I’m not in-network with, you can still schedule an appointment. I offer private pay options, and payment is due at the time of service. If your insurance provides out-of-network benefits, I can provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance.
