I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with a passion for helping couples reconnect, heal, and build stronger relationships.

As the founder of Counseling Care Specialties, I specialize in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy (Adlerian orientation), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused counseling. I also incorporate hypnosis when appropriate.

With years of experience and advanced training, I provide a compassionate, results-driven approach to therapy, helping individuals and couples gain insight, break free from unhelpful patterns, and develop the skills needed for lasting change. Whether you’re struggling with relationship challenges, emotional wounds from the past, or stress management, I’m here to support you.

I am a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey, as well as a Licensed Telehealth Provider in Florida.

I hold master’s degrees in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, and Special Education for the Emotionally Disturbed, and I am also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional.

Since earning my M.A. in Social Work from the University of Chicago in 1980, I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of mental health, family service, and organizational settings. While in private practice in the Chicago area, I served on the board of the Association of Mental Health Private Practitioners.

My additional training includes:

• Relational Life Therapy (RLT) certification
• EMDR training from the EMDR Institute
• Training in hypnosis from the American Society for Clinical Hypnosis
• A certificate in sex therapy from Loyola University Medical Center
